Fondo KKR pierde US1,190 millones

Four iPhone Models Ranging From 4 GB to 32 GB Coming?
Engadget reports that Apple has just received approval from a certification board for four new iPhones with capacities ranging from 4 GB to 32 GB.
4GB to 32GB — that’s one hell of a range, but we’re hearing from a trusted source that new iPhones in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities just garnered approval by the PCS Type Review Certification Board, the standards body responsible for certificating handsets for use with some carriers (AT&T, for instance).
Engadget believes that Apple is unlikely to deploy high-end hardware and software features on iPhone models with capacities as low as 4 GB, suggesting that Apple may begin offering models differentiated by more than just storage capacity. Numerous rumors regarding an ‘iPhone nano’ with scaled down hardware and/or software, as well as speculation regarding software-driven differentiation, have long pointed to the possibility of such variation in Apple’s iPhone offerings.

Well-dressed thief steals €6 million worth of Chopard jewels in Paris – Times Online
French police are hunting a ‘gentleman robber’ who pulled off a spectacular daylight robbery, stealing more than €6 million (£5.2 million) worth of jewels from one of the most exclusive stores in central Paris.
In the latest of a series of high-value European jewel thefts, the man, in his 50s and wearing an elegant suit and fedora hat, pulled out a gun in the Chopard boutique in the Place Vendôme. He quietly ordered the three staff to hand over the contents of the display window.
‘A man on his own, well dressed, who could have been a potential client, came into the jewellers, his faced unmasked, at one o’clock,’ said an investigator. The staff and customers did as they were told and the man left and disappeared into the pedestrian square, which was full of strollers enjoying the holiday weekend sun. The Vendôme is also home to the Justice Ministry, the Ritz hotel and an array of other jewellers. In two minutes the man took 15 high-priced items.
Susan Boyle admitted to The Priory suffering from ‘exhaustion’
The singer Susan Boyle was rushed to The Priory clinic last night after her shock defeat in the Britain’s Got Talent final. The Scottish star was taken to the private clinic after show staff contacted police to say that she was acting strangely at her London hotel. Police officers were called to assist and Boyle was reportedly taken by ambulance to the Priory in Southgate, North London, escorted by police.
Scotland Yard said: ‘Police were called at approximately 6pm to a Central London hotel to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act.
‘Police and ambulance attended. The woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance.’
When contacted last night a woman at The Priory hospital said that she could neither confirm nor deny that Boyle was there. The 52-bedroom centre specialises in the treatment of mental health problems.
